JOB DESCRIPTION The Distribution Channel Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners. Assigned to channel partners based on geography, channel, or market, the Distribution Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives. The Distribution Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused on a partner vertical market. Tasks will include: • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. • Develops both catalogue partners (think Grainger, Uline etc.) as well as Material Handling Distributors. • Coordinates within Sales organization in order to manage conflict between our newly formed distributor channels and our direct sales channel. • Knowledge transfer towards distributors / resellers in sales and application skills to make them efficient and successful in developing their given potential market. • Collaborate with sales teams of distributors / resellers to understand customer requirements and provide sales support • Contribute to sales presentations showcasing all technical features and processes • Support and execute demonstrations with resellers • Support in exhibitions or workshops • Support and execute given sales strategy for resellers • Support order fulfillment, e.g., open payments • Identify weaknesses and develop plans for improvement • Support in business development/lead generation for reseller • Sales funnel management for dedicated resellers • Communicate with Project Managers, and, whilst using your technical abilities, review CAD drawings and discuss project details as they relate to creating commercial offers. • Use CRM as your primary reporting tool. QUALIFICATIONS • Must be 21 years of age or older • A bachelor degree is a plus, but not required • Minimum eight years of B2B sales experience. • Experience and managing distributors • An individual performer that also understands the value of teamwork and looks to be part of a team. • A passion for our product is essential—enthusiasm and energy are key to your success in this role • Experiencing industrial sales is a plus but not required.
