Technical Project Management Specialist The Opportunity: We’re looking for skilled technical project managers to help drive advancements in multidisciplinary science and technologies for the Department of Defense. Our clients are pursuing revolutionary advancements well beyond the state-of-the-art. The ideal candidate will not only have experience in one or more technical areas but will also have experience in managing the execution of technical projects and programs. As part of our team, you'll provide project management support to program managers at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), helping to oversee the creation and execution of advanced government-funded research and development programs. You’ll work with world-class scientists and engineers to drive progress towards program goals and metrics that will enable mission success. You Have: • 3+ years of experience with program or project management in a professional work environment • Experience working in or with Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fields • Experience coordinating and organizing multiple projects and teams in a dynamic environment • Ability to be a self-starter, take the lead, and provide support in a team role within a complex, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary work environment • Ability to be part of a team with a national impact on science and technology development • Ability to be team-oriented and integrate easily into a team with broad technical backgrounds and expertise • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: • Experience performing or supporting DoD or government-sponsored research activities • Experience with using Microsoft Office • Ability to be flexible and readily adaptable to change • Ability to organize, multi-task, and respond to quick turn-around requests • Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both technical and lay audiences quickly and effectively • Ability to pay strict attention to detail • Possession of outstanding verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
