Role Overview We are hiring a Director, Corporate Development which is a high-impact role that will drive our M&A and growth initiatives end-to-end. This is a hands-on, high-energy role where you will be a hunter, a doer, and a dealmaker - not just a strategist. You will work directly with our CEO, leading the full lifecycle of M&A transactions and partnerships, from sourcing to execution. This is not a back-office role - we need someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves to get deals done, and is eager to build a pipeline of acquisition opportunities that will drive BoomerangFX’s growth and expansion. Key Responsibilities: M&A Sourcing & Execution: • Own the full lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, from identification and outreach to deal structuring and integration. • Proactively source acquisition targets, build relationships with potential partners, and drive deal flow. • Develop financial models, valuation assessments, and risk analyses to support M&A decisions. • Lead negotiations and due diligence efforts, ensuring seamless execution of deals. • Work closely with legal teams to structure agreements, ensuring compliance and maximizing deal value. Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: • Conduct deep market research to identify high-value acquisition targets and industry trends. • Stay ahead of competitive dynamics and market shifts that could present growth opportunities. • Evaluate and recommend strategic investments that align with BoomerangFX’s long-term goals. Partnership Development & Commercial Negotiations: • Build and nurture relationships with key industry players, identifying partnership opportunities that drive revenue growth. • Develop and execute commercial agreements that strengthen BoomerangFX’s position in the market. • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and product teams to align partnership strategies with business goals. Strategic Growth Planning: • Work closely with senior leadership and the CEO to refine and implement growth strategies. • Identify new verticals, revenue streams, and expansion opportunities. • Drive integration strategies post-acquisition to ensure long-term success. What You Bring: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. • 7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, M&A, or a high-growth startup environment. • Proven track record of sourcing and executing M&A deals - you are a hunter, not just a researcher. • Strong financial acumen, with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring. • Relentless drive and self-starter mentality - you don’t wait for deals to come to you, you go after them. • Exceptional negotiation and deal-closing skills, with experience leading due diligence and legal processes. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where adaptability and execution speed are critical. • Experience working directly with executive leadership or founders. • Preferred: Knowledge of the medical or healthcare industry and experience working with regulatory and legal considerations in this sector.
