Behind every family experience is a team that takes responsibility seriously. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support Cemetery Operations during a temporary leave coverage. This role is expected to last approximately twelve to fourteen weeks. However, there is a real possibility this role could become permanent, depending on business needs and performance. We could also, create a new position for someone that outperforms expectations. This is not a filler role. It is a role for someone who wants to own their work, be trusted with important processes, and contribute to a team that cares deeply about doing things the right way. The Role This position supports the daily administrative backbone of cemetery operations. You will work closely with operations and sales teams to ensure contracts, records, and marker orders are processed accurately, completely, and on time. Your work directly impacts families, internal teams, and our ability to operate with clarity and integrity. What You Will Be Responsible For • Processing at-need and pre-need cemetery contracts with accuracy and urgency • Managing the marker order process from initial review through vendor submission and delivery tracking • Reviewing paperwork for completeness and resolving discrepancies before they become problems • Entering and maintaining records in our memorial order software, including uploading documentation and photos • Monitoring order status daily and communicating proactively with vendors and internal teams • Maintaining cemetery records, logs, and reports that must be precise and audit-ready • Providing backup administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations We are looking for someone who follows things through, catches details others miss, and takes pride in clean, accurate work. Comfort using Word, Outlook, and Excel is required. Experience with contracts, records, or order processing is helpful, but mindset and reliability matter more than industry background.
