Bond No. 9 | International Marketing Manager Position Overview The International Marketing Manager serves as the strategic bridge between our niche fragrance house and global distribution partners, driving brand growth through distributor relationships and international retail channels while preserving the brand's exclusive positioning in the luxury fragrance market. Key Responsibilities Distributor Partnership Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors across key international markets. • Develop co-marketing strategies and campaigns in collaboration with distributor partners. • Help develop and provide marketing toolkits, brand guidelines, and sales materials to ensure consistent brand messaging across all territories. • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to assess performance, identify opportunities, and align on growth strategies. • Train distributor teams on brand storytelling, product knowledge, and the art of niche perfumery. International Retail Collaboration • Partner with high-end retailers, specialty boutiques, and department stores worldwide to enhance brand visibility and in-store experience. • Design and implement point-of-sale materials, counter displays, and retail activations that reflect brand identity. • Coordinate exclusive launches and limited editions with select retail partners. • Support retailers with staff training, sampling programs, and customer engagement initiatives. • Monitor retail performance metrics and optimize strategies based on sell-through data. Marketing Strategy & Execution • Create region-specific marketing campaigns that resonate with local markets while maintaining global brand consistency. • Develop seasonal activation calendars in alignment with distributor and retailer needs. • Supervise marketing budgets to be invested by brand partners and co-op funds across multiple territories. • Oversee digital marketing support for international partners, including social media assets and e-commerce content. Market Development & Intelligence • Identify new distribution opportunities and retail partnerships in emerging markets. • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape in the niche fragrance sector. • Provide insights and recommendations to adapt product offerings and marketing approaches by region. • Track and report on international sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and ROI. Brand Guardianship • Ensure all distributor and retail partner activities align with brand values and luxury positioning. • Maintain quality control over how the brand is represented across all international touchpoints. • Protect brand exclusivity while expanding market reach. Travel & Collaboration • Travel internationally (5–10%) to visit distributors, attend trade shows, conduct retailer visits, and support market launches. • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product development, and creative teams to align international strategies. Qualifications : Required Experience • 5–7 years in international marketing within luxury beauty, fragrance, or premium consumer goods. • Proven experience managing distributor relationships and multi-tier retail partnerships. • Strong understanding of niche/artisanal fragrance market dynamics. • Track record of successful international campaign execution and market expansion. Skills & Competencies • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills. • Cross-cultural communication expertise and ability to work across diverse markets. • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen. • Project management capabilities handling multiple markets simultaneously. • Budget management and P&L understanding.
