Mission Turn briefs + provided selects into high-retention, on-brand short-form that ships 3–5 posts/day across platforms with a 48-hour turnaround. You own: edit quality, speed, publishing, and ClickUp hygiene. Your work directly drives booked stays and waitlists. Why this role mattersBolt Farm is a sold-out, waitlisted luxury treehouse resort. Your edits won’t be buried in a brand folder — they’ll be live daily, driving real bookings, filling cabins, and building a category-defining hospitality brand. If you want to see your work move numbers, not just views, this is that role. This is a volume + performance role. We reward what we want more of: consistent output and compounding winners. (Daily velocity.) Non-Negotiables (Read Carefully) This role is for operators, not “artsy when inspired” editors. If you like clear targets, fast feedback, and seeing your work drive real revenue, you’ll love this. If you need long creative cycles, constant reminders, or can’t ship under pressure, you’ll hate it. You are a fit if you can do all of the following consistently: • Ship 3–5 shorts/day without being chased. • Be fast without being sloppy (clean captions, tight pacing, clean audio, intentional cuts). • Follow a house style (fonts, caption rules, sound rules, cover rules) — not freestyle every edit. • Keep ClickUp perfectly updated (statuses, due dates, links, tags) — no “I forgot.” • Take feedback same-day and iterate without ego. What You’ll Do Daily / Weekly Execution • Edit 3–5 short-form videos/day (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) from briefs + provided selects (you’re not digging through 2-hour files). • Turn footage into scroll-stoppers: hook-first cuts, captions, pacing, sound design, B-roll, pattern interrupts, re-hooks. • Publish natively across IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels with correct titles, tags, covers, and metadata. • Maintain pristine ClickUp hygiene for every asset: status, due dates, publishing links, performance tags, notes. • Hit a 48-hour SLA from brief published post on assigned queues. • Implement feedback loops from Director of Media: test new hooks, formats, and styles weekly. Analytics & Iteration (Retention > Aesthetics) • Track top performers weekly: hooks, topics, visuals, watch-time %, saves/shares, retention drops. • Clone winners: create variations and remixes of what’s working — quickly and repeatedly. • Collaborate on covers + first 3 seconds: thumbnails, headlines, hook structure. Output Standards (How We Actually Run) • Minimum standard: 21 posts/week shipped • Target: 25 posts/week shipped • Stretch: 30 posts/week during sprints Publishing cadence is sacred. Zero gaps. Brand Bar (Objective Rules — Not “Vibes”) You will receive a house style guide. Expect standards like: • Hook structure: 0–1s pattern interrupt, 1–3s premise, fast clarity. • Pacing: tight cuts, remove dead air, re-hook before attention drops. • Captions: clean, readable, consistent placement + safe margins; intentional highlights; no clutter. • Audio: clear dialogue, balanced music, no muddy mixes. • Covers: 3–5 words max, high contrast, curiosity-driving, aligned with brand voice. • Exports: vertical 9:16, platform-ready, optimized for retention. Success Metrics (Two Numbers. Pass/Fail. No Discussion.) Table Stakes (must be true) • Volume: average 21+ posts/week shipped • SLA: 95%+ of assigned clips shipped within 48 hours • Quality: clears brand bar with minimal revisions after day 60 Winners (this is how you earn upside) We use exactly two objective metrics. Each post is measured at Day 7 after publishing using Instagram Insights / Meta Business Suite. 1) Share Winner (shareability) Share Winner threshold = X.X shares / 1,000 reached • Unit: shares per 1,000 accounts reached • Calculation (for clarity): (Shares ÷ Accounts Reached) × 1,000 • Pass/Fail: if a post meets or beats X.X, it’s a Share Winner. 2) Intent Winner (action) Intent Winner threshold = Y.Y website taps / 1,000 reached • Unit: website taps per 1,000 accounts reached • Calculation (for clarity): (Website Taps ÷ Accounts Reached) × 1,000 • Pass/Fail: if a post meets or beats Y.Y, it’s an Intent Winner. That’s it. Two numbers. Pass/fail. No debate. Tools + Workflow (Operator Role) We move fast with tight systems. You’ll work inside: • ClickUp (task routing + statuses + tagging) • Google Drive (assets, selects, exports) • Slack (fast comms) • Frame.io or equivalent (review + notes) • Clear naming conventions + export specs + publishing checklist Requirements • 2+ years editing short-form vertical video (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) for creators or brands. • Portfolio showing high-retention shorts — send links (not just montages). • Expert in at least one pro tool (Premiere / Final Cut / DaVinci / CapCut Desktop) + caption tools. • You understand retention editing: hooks, pattern interrupts, open loops, payoff timing. • Comfortable publishing natively on IG/TikTok/YT/Facebook and pulling basic analytics. • Organized operator: you can live in ClickUp and keep it clean at high velocity. • You can explain your editing choices in 2–3 bullets (not essays, not vibes). • Nice to have: travel/hospitality/lifestyle experience; founder-led channel experience. 30 / 60 / 90 Day Win Plan • First 30 days: learn house style, hit 18–21/week, SLA 90%+ • By 60 days: hit 21–25/week, SLA 95%+, minimal revisions • By 90 days: consistent winners + reliable remix engine Compensation (Idiot-Proof, No Debates) Base salary: $80,000–$90,000/year (depending on experience)Performance bonuses: $30,000–$60,000+ uncappedOTE: $110,000–$150,000+ Uncapped performance-based pay on measurable outcomes directly tied to your performance.
