Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves local route driving, delivery, and pick-up services, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, customer service, and warehouse operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Duties • Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and pickups across designated routes • Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as needed • Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups • Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions • Follow route schedules to meet delivery deadlines • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance • Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management when required • Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving operations Qualifications • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Prior experience as a courier or delivery driver preferred, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles • Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely • Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills for efficient deliveries • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is desirable • Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
