Boeing’s Global Real Estate, Planning and Strategy organization is seeking a visionary Senior Facilities Planning Manager (Level L) to inspire, empower, and lead a high-performing team within our dynamic and collaborative Enterprise Planning group supporting Boeing Global Services (BGS), CORP & Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS). In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive strategic planning and execution across a diverse, high-impact portfolio of facilities across three Business Units (BUs) – BGS, CORP & East Coast BDS. You will leverage your expertise in long-range business planning, real estate strategy, and operational excellence to optimize space utilization, enhance infrastructure capabilities, and support Boeing’s mission-critical growth in this key region. As a key strategic partner, you will influence site-specific decision-making by integrating data-driven insights, advanced forecasting, and innovative planning methodologies. Your leadership will ensure alignment between facilities planning and Boeing’s broader business objectives, enabling sustainable growth and operational agility across multiple BUs. Position required to be based in Central or East time zone. Position Responsibilities: Manage employee activities within facilities planning, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-range business objectives and strategic growth plans Develop comprehensive project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals that support both immediate needs and future scalability Drive continuous process improvements by leveraging data analytics and industry best practices to enhance operational performance and support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners, and direct reports to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with strategic priorities Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, ensuring they support long-term sustainability, innovation, and compliance with corporate standards Manage, develop, and motivate employees by cultivating a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, and continuous learning Lead with a Seek, Speak, & Listen (SS&L) mindset, promoting open communication and strategic dialogue to drive alignment and engagement across teams Ability to travel 25% domestically Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s Degree 10+ years of experience in Facilities Planning 10+ years of experience working across multiple business units and interfacing with key stakeholders 10+ years of experience developing & delivering presentations to senior leaders 5+ years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team 25% domestic travel Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Master’s Degree 5+ years of experience coaching and developing others 5+ years of experience working in a dynamic environment 1+ year of experience leading diverse teams to include salaried and hourly employees Experience within project leadership including planning, implementing and executing program plans Experience as a strategic business partner with strong customer support, and excellent teamwork Experience working with and developing a Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) Experience with real estate project management and space planning Experience with international operations in both Planning and Real Estate Ability to adapt Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
