Flightline Operations Manager (Final Air Vehicle Paint) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Flightline Operations Manager (Final Air Vehicle Paint) (Level L) to join our 737 Final Paint team in Seattle, WA. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Flightline Operations Senior Manager to oversee our 737 Final Paint operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft during all aspects of work statement, while leading a dedicated team committed to excellence. You will implement and promote safety protocols as a top priority, fostering a culture of safety, quality and compliance throughout the operations. Additionally, you will leverage Lean principles to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and reduce waste, ensuring that our operations not only meet but exceed industry standards. Position Responsibilities: • Ensures Final aircraft coatings meet or exceed all required specifications, engineering and customer requirements by overseeing final coatings and graphics installation processes, repair, testing. • Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance. • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. • This position is expected to be 100% onsite Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • 10+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment • 5+ years of experience working in Manufacturing or Flightline operations • 5+ yearsof experience working in cross-functional teams • 5+ years of leadership experience • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • 5+ years final air vehicle paint/coatings experience • Experience working in a high volume paint facility • Experience working with customers • Experience working with large cross-functional teams Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria are met as outlined in our policies.
