First Line Supplier Quality Regional Operations Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Quality is seeking a First Line Supplier Quality Regional Operations Manager for our North America Mid-West / East Region with a consistent track record of leading change, inspiring others, superior communication, embracing diversity, and challenging the status quo. In this role, you will drive improvements across the BGS supply base to best support our growing BGS portfolio. The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to transform the work we do, develop our teams, and integrate across organizations and the enterprise. The selected candidate(s) will lead and mentor a team of supplier quality professionals performing the Regional Operations Supplier Quality Rep role for OEM spares suppliers, as well as Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Suppliers in our North America Mid-West / East Region. Position can be located in either Jacksonville, FL, Miami, FL, Ridley Park, PA, Hazelwood, MO, Dallas, TX, and San Antonio, TX. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance. Provides education and coaching on the Boeing Quality Management System. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages and Deploys Supplier Quality Requirements, Supplier Approvals, Product Verification & Supplier Quality Surveillance Strategy, Supplier Corrective Action, and Supplier Performance Improvement processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100 and/or AS9110) 5+ years of experience in communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders 5+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees Experience leading global teams in a collaborative, respectful, and innovative environment Able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time domestically Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Previous APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) experience Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures. Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and Systematic Problem Solving. Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationship, Ethical Leadership. Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.
