Fire Protection Operations Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Enterprise Security is currently seeking a Fire Protection Operations Manager to join their team in Mesa, Arizona. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing fire protection services, including dispatch and response to emergency calls, inspection of fire equipment, and work permit/confined space/hazardous material standby Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Manages, develops and motivates employees Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): State, IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter 1 certification State, IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter 2 certification Hazardous Materials Incident Commander certified Must be certified as an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) Must have a valid state driver’s license Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends Current National Registry or Arizona State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification 5+ years of experience with national fire codes and standards Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience 10+ years of experience as a full time/career firefighter Experience with modern fire prevention principles, procedures and equipment Experience with Security & Fire Protection or uniformed security policies, procedures, disciplines and requirements Confined Space Rescue training and experience Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
