Air Vehicle Program Manager - Technical Change Coordination Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Air Vehicle Program Manager (Level K) to join the USAF E-7A Technical Change Coordination team in Tukwila, WA! Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities. Position Responsibilities: Responsible as the Air Vehicle Integration Control Account Manager. Maintains oversight of USAF E-7A Air Vehicle EVM, quarterly EAC and AV IPT VAR reviews. Responsible for USAF E-7A Air Vehicle Technical Change Coordination Provides leadership and direction to assure all engineering change request impact assessments are completed in timely manner to support insertion into Program Change Board approval process Responsible for USAF E-7A Air Vehicle Risk, Issue and Opportunity (RIO) management. Provides leadership and direction to assure all RIO request likelihood/consequence assessments are completed in timely manner in accordance with program guidelines to support elevation into Program RIO Board approval process, and once approved, the development and execution of risk and/or issue mitigation plans Integrates team inputs within Air Vehicle and across all affected program IPTs Develops integrated Air Vehicle change plans and provides input on team business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives Develops and maintains working relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as USAF and key suppliers Implements Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) Leads, develops and motivates employees and managers This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills Experience in preparing and presenting executive level briefings 1+ year of experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools 3+ years of experience performing Change Management and or Change Control services and/or activities Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): A Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field (or related technical field) Experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
