SCHEDULE & PAY: • Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 9 AM – 1 PM • Hourly Pay: $40/hr • Start Date: December 20, 2025 (expected) • End Date: June 14, 2026 (expected) Subjects You Will Teach: • GEOMETRY • ALGEBRA II • ALGEBRA I • Applicants must be fully qualified to tutor all subjects listed above. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Tutor 4–8 students in person and teach fundamental concepts clearly using both written and verbal explanations. • Provide individualized instruction: Each student may bring different topics, classwork, homework, or review sheets from school. Tutors must help students work through these materials and prepare them for quizzes and tests through guided practice and concept reinforcement. • Teach concepts independently: Tutors may use textbooks or reference materials as needed, but should not rely on them and must be able to teach concepts in their own words while creating small examples or notes during instruction. • Prepare and print materials as needed using digital tools available to tutors for generating practice problems and printable worksheets, along with textbooks and other reference materials. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: • Assessment Requirement: Must score at least 87% on a 2-hour subject knowledge assessment covering key units in Geometry and Algebra II. • Tutoring Skills: Must be able to break down problems clearly, guide students step-by-step, and teach concepts in your own words. • Experience: Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience. ASSESSMENT DATE: • December 11, 2025: Anytime between 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM • December 13, 2025: Anytime between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM • December 14, 2025: Anytime between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM • Only qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule and take the assessment.
