$50K - 80K a year
Provide feedback on the product as a member of the Product Council on a consulting basis.
2+ years experience as a Planner, Scheduler, or Plant Manager with ability to work independently and remotely.
Company Description Bob the Planner is an early stage product created by manufacturing professionals partnering with optimization scientists. An experienced plant manager felt frustrated that: • Updating the production schedule often took hours, limiting the amount of time the Planner had to coordinate the floor time behind a new schedule • Most of the software tools available to make the process less manual were really expensive and hard to use for non-techies We are working on an affordable product targeted at small and medium factories that any Planner and Scheduler can set up by themselves without IT support. Complete a profile with ~10 questions about your operation and upload your order book. Then Bob will get to work building a baseline schedule for you - which you can tweak based on unique factors only you know as a human. Customer needs to move a delivery? Machine down for 2 days for a belt repair? No problem! Update on Bob - and he will quickly suggest a reworked schedule - enabling you to spend less time calculating and more time coordinating. Role Description Since one of our core values is to empower Planners and Schedulers, we want to engage them as we finalize our product and go to market. We seek to build a Product Council of professionals to give us feedback on our product on a consulting basis. Qualifications • 2+ years experience as a Planner, Scheduler, or Plant Manager • Ability to work independently and remotely
