Job Summary: The Trade Operations Analyst role supports post-trade operations with a primary focus on trade comparison and reconciliation for broker-dealer client accounts. This position is responsible for performing daily T+1 reconciliations, identifying and resolving trade discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely settlement of executed trades. This is a back-office, high-volume operations role requiring strong attention to detail, reconciliation expertise, and daily communication with external clients and internal partners. The role is hybrid (4 days onsite) and can be based in Jersey City, NJ or Lake Mary, FL. Key Responsibilities: • Trade Reconciliation & Comparison: Perform daily T+1 reconciliations by comparing executed trade files received from Euronext against trades processed internally, ensuring alignment of share quantities and EUR amounts. • Exception Investigation & Resolution: Identify trade breaks or discrepancies and work directly with clients to investigate and resolve issues promptly on the same day to meet settlement timelines. • Trade Netting & Consolidation: Net multiple buy and sell transactions across securities into a single net deliverable or receivable position once reconciliation is complete. • Client Communication: Communicate daily with clients via email and phone to resolve discrepancies, confirm corrections, and provide status updates. • Post-Trade Operations Support: Support accurate trade settlement by ensuring all reconciled trades are corrected, balanced, and processed according to operational standards. • Escalation & Risk Management: Escalate unresolved breaks, risks, or processing issues in a timely manner to ensure settlement deadlines are met. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required • 3+ years of experience in broker-dealer or financial services operations • Experience with trade processing, trade comparison, and reconciliation • Working knowledge of post-trade execution and settlement cycles • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience: • Prior back-office broker-dealer operations experience • Experience reconciling equities or foreign securities trades • Familiarity with bookkeeping concepts related to trade settlement • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging • Experience working in high-volume, time-sensitive operational environments • Comfort escalating issues and aggressively pursuing resolution when needed Why Join Us: This role offers hands-on exposure to trade comparison and reconciliation within a broker-dealer environment, supporting critical post-trade processes for international securities.
