POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the RLC Leadership Team/Director of Operations, the Program Manager of the Southeast Recovery Learning Community is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Southeast Recovery Learning Community, a new peer-driven, multi-partner initiative charged with providing a wide variety of consumer-to-consumer services for people with mental illness. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Works collaboratively with the Recovery Learning Community’s leadership to create a unified network of existing and proposed peer support activities in the Southeast Area. The Program Manager will be responsible for day-to-day stewardship of the SERLC mission while engaging in team building, training, coordinating/facilitating meetings and communications, and promoting integration of SERLC efforts internally and externally. Oversee day-to-day operations of SERLC, facilitating communication and coordination of efforts among all components Provide support/mentoring to component leadership, ensuring team cohesiveness. Help supervise peer positions. Develop collaborative relationships with external peer-operated programs. Work with other Massachusetts Recovery Learning Communities to share knowledge, resources, and develop linkages Participate in recruitment, hiring, orientation, and training of individuals to staff peer support programs Consult with SERLC components on development of their respective projects and monitor progress Facilitate SERLC Operations Committee and develop regular reporting system for all partners. Participate in SERLC Leadership Committee and other committees as necessary Participate in regular supervision with RLC Leadership Team Serve as Program Director for grant reporting. PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Peer Specialist Certification or willingness to obtain certification EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years direct work experience with at least 2 years managerial/supervisory experience. Lived history of recovery KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of community resources and public health promotion, disease prevention interventions, professional education approaches helpful. Cultural sensitivity and comfort with a wide range of social, racial and ethnic populations Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to guide, direct, mentor, train and work collaboratively in a team building environment. An organized work style and ability to keep written documentation. Proficiency with computers/PC's and a variety of software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and other compatible applications; ability to learn additional software packages. Ability to travel evening and weekend hours, as required. Compensation Range: $47,500.00- $66,500.00 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
