BMC is looking for an accomplished and visionary Director of Product Management to lead our BMC AMI Data product management group!In this pivotal role, we are seeking a Director of Product Management - BMC AMI Data to lead the design, strategy and delivery of BMC's mainframe offerings for IMS and Db2. In this role you will lead a team of experienced product managers to drive the growth of the solutions across both new opportunities as well as existing customers.Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:• Lead and mentor a team of both outbound and inbound Product Managers.• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market trends research, customer feedback, and business goals.• Prioritize and allocate resources to high-impact product initiatives, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, partners, and industry influencers.• Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and strategy.• Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve product development processes, enhance team collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new product management team members.• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to support their growth and development.• Create a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
