Position: Data Insights Analyst Department: Systems Analytics Schedule: Full Time ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Key Functions/Responsibilities: Work closely with the Senior Director of Clinical, Operational, and Payment Analytics to develop, maintain, and leverage a best-in-class analytics infrastructure to support the Plan’s Service and Operational strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data analysis. Develop and execute data-driven strategies that align with the company's mission and goals. Provide guidance on long-term and short-term strategic planning initiatives. Interpret and analyze complex data sets, utilizing various statistical methods to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights. Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, identify key metrics, and define data requirements for various projects and initiatives. Design and develop data models, data flows, and data integration processes to ensure accurate and efficient data collection, storage, and retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data scientists, and developers, to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop data-driven solutions. Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions. Work to ensure continuous improvement and adoption of data management best practices and to ensure compliance with data governance and privacy policies. Perform detailed data analysis to determine the structure, content, and quality of data through examination of source systems and data samples. Deliver reports and interpret results from our data to various business units, supporting both regular reporting requirements and ad-hoc queries. Develop risk mitigation plans to ensure successful strategy implementation. Resolve issues or escalate risk to next level of management as necessary. Issues may relate to any of the phases during the project life-cycle including user requirements, development, testing, implementation, integration, training or ongoing support. Experience Required: 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or related roles, especially in Service and Operations business areas Three or more years conducting advanced analytics using SAS and/or SQL. Must have deep understanding and hands-on experience with Tableau. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Self-motivated, takes initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations for improvement. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to communicate customers about data needs and explaining report methodologies. Working knowledge of utilizing Enterprise Data Warehouse Ability to think out-of-the-box to handle any challenging and complex request. Compensation Range: $78,000.00- $113,000.00 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
