The Financial Analyst will collect and translate data into actionable analysis for the Finance department, ensuring insights and conclusions are correct. Responsibilities include analyzing financial information, coordinating with management, and producing accurate reports.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial statements are essential, with healthcare experience preferred.
BlueSprig is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The Financial Analyst collects and translates data into actionable analysis for the Finance department. The analyst will be responsible for importing, transforming, validating and modeling data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data in order to drive clinical and operational decision-making. Responsibilities Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to build and assess data, and maintaining vigilance in analysis to ensure the insights and conclusions obtained are correct Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts Provide intensive research, data mining and data mapping Present findings clearly and accessibly in the form of reports and spoken communications with various audiences Trouble-shoot and correcting data load exceptions or inaccuracies Provide financial analysis as needed to various business stakeholders Produce accurate and timely reports Contribute to process improvement efforts Generates reports and regular datasets or report information for end- users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end- user information portals or resources May create specifications for reports based on business requests Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Advanced knowledge of Excel and Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint.
