BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a driven, strategic, and people-focused recruiting leader to join our team as a Divisional Manager of Talent Acquisition. Candidates must reside within our Central Division to be qualified for this position. The Divisional Manager of Talent Acquisition (TA) is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to meet evolving workforce needs within an assigned division. This leader partners closely with Field Leadership and P&O Business Partners to forecast talent needs, design scalable recruiting initiatives, and ensure operational excellence across the full recruiting lifecycle. The position requires frequent collaboration with hospital leaders, recruiters, and cross-functional partners, and up to 25–40% travel to support divisional and organizational priorities. As a Divisional Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will: Champion and represent the BluePearl mission and vision in all talent acquisition strategies and interactions. Translate organizational talent acquisition strategy into defined divisional action plans, ensuring execution and measurable outcomes. Serve as a subject matter expert in ATS and CRM functionality, recruitment strategy, and deployment. Lead sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality talent pipelines, overcoming challenges in a competitive industry. Partner with field leadership and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, set realistic expectations, and provide recruiting education. Collect and analyze TA data, identify trends, and create efficiencies based on business needs. Oversee recruiter performance, ensuring workflows, accountability, and operational excellence. Build and implement action plans by market, supporting diversity initiatives and long-term talent planning. Monitor and apply veterinary industry talent trends to inform recruiting strategies and stakeholder communications. Ensure compliance with labor legislation, internal policies, and best practices throughout the recruiting lifecycle. Lead change management initiatives related to new TA tools, processes, and strategies. Coach, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters, fostering growth and engagement. Evaluate, recommend, and implement new recruitment technologies, tools, and automation to enhance effectiveness. Serve on cross-functional teams, representing TA in organizational projects and initiatives. Directing Others – Establishes clear direction, delegates effectively, and drives accountability across the recruiting team. Working Conditions Approximately 25–40% travel is required to support divisional and organizational priorities. Must be able to travel by air, train, or car on short notice. Extended periods of sitting/standing at a computer workstation. Project timelines and business needs may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience in a multi-site organization of similar size, scope, and complexity. At least 3 years of people leadership experience, managing and developing high-performing recruiting teams. Strong expertise in ATS/CRM systems (Workday and Phenom experience strongly preferred). Proven ability to design sourcing strategies, build pipelines, and achieve hiring goals in a competitive talent market. Why BluePearl? Our passion is pets.
