Job Overview We are seeking a highly driven and organized Senior Admissions Coordinator to support our growing behavioral health and substance use treatment programs. This role is responsible for managing the full process from initial inquiry through admission. The ideal candidate is both process-driven and people-focused, capable of balancing empathy with efficiency while supporting census growth and organizational goals. Duties • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, families, and referral sources • Manage inbound calls, web inquiries, and business development referrals with urgency and professionalism • Verify commercial insurance benefits and eligibility through verification systems • Communicate coverage, limitations, and financial responsibility clearly and professionally • Present private pay options when applicable • Conduct pre-admission screenings to determine clinical appropriateness and level of care • Ensure all required documentation is completed prior to admission • Guide callers through the admissions process from initial contact through arrival • Maintain accurate and timely data entry in CRM system • Track leads, admissions activity, and outcomes to support conversion and census goals • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory requirements Requirements • Minimum 2 years experience in substance use treatment admissions preferred • Proficiency with CRM and EMR platforms such as Salesforce, Kipu, or similar systems • Strong communication and de-escalation skills with the ability to build trust quickly • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with a strong sense of urgency • Professional, compassionate, and solutions oriented approach What We Offer • Opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing behavioral health organization • Collaborative and mission-driven culture • Competitive compensation and advancement opportunities Join our team as a Senior Admissions Coordinator where your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our healthcare services.
