Job Description: Blue Water Thinking is seeking a motivated and skilled Lead Health IT Informatics Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for configuration of Oracle Health and/or CPRS/VISTA to ensure health IT informatics quality. You will be responsible for analyzing project-related problems and creating innovative solutions and best practices. You will provide the highest level of expert consultation for the large scale implementation of health IT informatics. Responsibilities: Oversee the team responsible for configuration of Oracle Health and/or CPRS/VISTA to ensure health IT informatics quality. Analyze new and complex project-related problems, creating innovative solutions. Coordinate necessary support resources for the successful completion of projects. Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Collaborate with federal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align Agile delivery with mission objectives, compliance, and procurement constraints. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field. 8 years of experience in a client-facing position responsible for requirements capture, including 6 years in specialized Health Informatic positions. Expertise in providing stakeholder management requirements gathering, information modeling, process documentation and liaison tasks required to support the development of clinical informatics software or other clinical informatics project activities. Specialized skills include experience with requirements elicitation, requirements analysis, user acceptance testing, and artifact development / documentation of systems used in the capture or standardization of health information, clinical information, or other data related to therapeutic discovery, medical research, or life sciences. Extensive experience with configuration of Oracle Health and/or CPRS/VISTA. Proven ability to lead and manage large or complex projects working with federal agencies or contractors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated success in VA environment. Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role Compensation: Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
