The role will translate global program requirements into an executable site plan, coordinate local resources and decisions, and ensure site-specific risks, dependencies, and readiness needs are visible to program leadership. This role will serve as the primary connection between the manufacturing site and global or regional teams across Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Change Management, Training, Cutover, and Program Management. The Site Lead will align site activities to the integrated critical path and drive coordinated execution across business processes, systems, data, people, infrastructure, and operational support. The successful candidate will bring strong site leadership, manufacturing knowledge, and disciplined execution to a complex transformation. The role will support the site from requirements and design validation through testing, business readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and transition to stable operations. What Will You Do? Site Deployment Planning and Governance · Develop, maintain, and execute the integrated site deployment plan, including milestones, activities, owners, dependencies, readiness gates, and completion evidence. · Align site deliverables with the Manufacturing workstream, regional deployment teams, and broader program and IT critical path. · Coordinate site resources and subject matter experts across Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, IT, and supporting functions. · Facilitate site governance meetings and readiness reviews, documenting decisions, actions, owners, due dates, and escalation needs. · Maintain site-level risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, and corrective actions. · Provide clear site status reports, milestone views, decision materials, and executive updates to program leadership. Business Process and Technology Readiness · Coordinate site participation in requirements workshops, process reviews, design validation, and future-state operating-model decisions. · Confirm that site-specific manufacturing, planning, materials, logistics, quality, reporting, and operational requirements are represented in the solution. · Coordinate local master data, transactional data, access, infrastructure, equipment, interface, reporting, and support-readiness activities. · Identify gaps between global design and local operational requirements and drive resolution through the appropriate governance process. · Ensure site procedures, standard work, roles, controls, and operational handoffs are updated for deployment. Testing, Training, and Business Readiness · Coordinate site preparation and participation in integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and operational scenario validation. · Confirm appropriate site SMEs and end users are available, trained, and prepared to execute test scripts and resolve defects. · Partner with Change Management and Training teams to validate impacted roles, training needs, communications, learning completion, and adoption readiness. · Drive site readiness assessments across people, process, technology, data, infrastructure, materials, support, and governance dimensions. · Maintain evidence of readiness and escalate gaps that could affect site or program deployment decisions. Cutover, Go-Live, and Stabilization · Lead site-level cutover planning and execution in coordination with global, regional, functional, and IT cutover teams. · Coordinate activities for open transactions, work in process, inventory, production orders, purchase orders, material staging, data freezes, system access, and operational handoffs. · Develop site contingency plans, decision triggers, escalation paths, and business-continuity actions for deployment risks. · Confirm site staffing, command-center coverage, communications, and support arrangements for go-live and hypercare. · Monitor site performance, transactions, production flow, inventory, quality, service, and issue resolution during stabilization. · Drive timely triage, ownership, escalation, and closure of post-deployment issues and support transition to business-as-usual operations. Cross-Functional Leadership and Continuous Improvement · Build strong working relationships with site leadership, functional SMEs, regional teams, global process owners, IT, and program governance groups. · Clarify local ownership, decision rights, resource needs, and cross-functional dependencies. · Capture lessons learned and apply improvements to site execution, readiness practices, and subsequent deployment activities. Role Requirements: · 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, site leadership, project or program management, ERP deployment, or business transformation. · Experience leading cross-functional execution within a manufacturing site or complex operational environment. · Experience coordinating site readiness, process change, system implementation, testing, training, cutover, go-live, or hypercare activities. · Experience managing integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and readiness evidence. · Experience working with manufacturing, planning, materials, logistics, quality, engineering, finance, and IT stakeholders. · Experience communicating with site leadership and enterprise program governance teams. · Experience in a regulated manufacturing or life-sciences environment is preferred. · PMP, PRINCE2, Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable certification is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities · Strong understanding of manufacturing-site operations and the dependencies among production, planning, materials, logistics, quality, engineering, finance, and business systems. · Ability to translate global program requirements into clear site-level activities, ownership, and deliverables. · Strong project planning, execution management, readiness assessment, and organizational skills. · Excellent risk, issue, dependency, decision, and escalation management capabilities. · Ability to facilitate workshops, readiness reviews, problem-solving sessions, and cross-functional decision making. · Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor information for site teams and senior leadership. · Ability to influence without direct authority and maintain accountability in a highly matrixed organization. · Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain operational focus during critical deployment periods. · Working knowledge of ERP, manufacturing, quality, planning, reporting, collaboration, and project-management tools. · Ability to support cutover, go-live, and stabilization activities outside standard business hours as required.
