Cloud Engineer – Windows Administrator Location: Remote Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer – Windows Administrator to support a federal client in building and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments. In this role, you will help design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud solutions that support mission-critical federal systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate infrastructure, maintain secure Windows and database environments, and ensure high system availability in a secure government cloud ecosystem. Responsibilities As a Cloud Engineer – Windows Administrator, you will: • Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments • Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments supporting enterprise applications • Support Oracle database environments and associated infrastructure services • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform • Implement automation and configuration management processes using tools such as Ansible and PowerShell • Support Active Directory and Windows-based authentication services • Monitor system performance, availability, security, and scalability across cloud-hosted infrastructure • Create efficient, resilient cloud solutions while handling automation, cost management, and disaster recovery • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application deployments • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and operational standards Schedule & Shift Details • Full-time (40 hours/week) • Remote work supporting federal program operations Required Qualifications • U.S. Citizenship required • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum of 7–10 years experience with Windows server administration, database environments, and enterprise cloud infrastructure • T3/T5 equivalent eligibility Demonstrated Experience With • Microsoft Windows Server administration and Active Directory • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments and Oracle Linux OS administration • Oracle database administration and support • Terraform for infrastructure as code • Linux system administration in enterprise environments • PowerShell, Ansible, and Cloudbees Jenkins • Automation and Cloud Native Architectures Certifications • Current CompTIA Security+ certification required • One or more DoD 8570 baseline certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, CAP, CASP+ CE, CND, CSSLP, CySA+, GSLC, or SSCP) Why Join Blue Rose? • Support secure federal cloud infrastructure and modernization initiatives • Collaborate with experienced cloud engineers and DevOps teams • Work on mission-critical systems supporting national priorities • Contribute to secure, scalable, and resilient government cloud environments Apply Today Email: bluerosestaffing@bluerose-consulting.com Website: www.bluerose-consulting.com/careers LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/blue-rose-consulting-group-inc/
