Job Title: Vice President of Software Development Location: Currently remote. Candidate should be in the Tampa Florida area. Salary: $160k Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Software Development to lead, inspire, and grow our development team in the current and future evolution of VIBE. The ideal candidate is not only a highly skilled technologist but also a strategic leader and exceptional communicator who thrives in collaborative environments. This role will be integral to driving innovation and delivering best-in-class solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: • Lead, mentor, and scale the software development team to meet current and future needs. • Set the strategic vision for product development in alignment with company goals. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Software Development: • Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of the VIBE platform. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (sales, client success, and marketing) to align product features with client needs. • Contribute to coding as needed, ensuring alignment with current and advanced coding standards and best practices. Client Engagement & Communication: • Act as a key liaison for client discussions, presenting technical proposals and product updates. • Translate technical solutions into client-friendly language and ensure client feedback is incorporated into the development lifecycle. Operational Success: · Ensure all development projects meet deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards. · Track and report on key performance metrics related to development initiatives. · Manage external partnerships, vendors, and contractors when necessary. Qualifications: • Ideal candidate would have 7+ years of experience with Microsoft tech stack (C#, VB.NET, SQL, Azure, and Blazor) • Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing software development teams. • Proficiency in coding and deep understanding of current and advanced programming languages, frameworks, and tools. • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong interpersonal skills; a people person who fosters teamwork and collaboration. • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale software projects from concept to deployment. • Experience interacting with clients and presenting technical solutions. • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on putting the company and clients first. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Preferred Qualities: • Experience in healthcare SaaS solutions or long-term care technology. • Familiarity with agile and lean software development methodologies. • Track record of balancing innovation with maintaining reliability and security.
