Job Description Responsible for the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the IT controls framework, including documentation, risk management, training, and associated processes. Provides oversight of the audit process within IT and the process for tracking open audit findings, test exceptions, and systemic issues. Ensures continuous improvement by working closely with representatives of the community to improve their respective processes and then publish, train, and govern them. Additionally, supports the integration of AI governance into IT controls, ensuring responsible use of AI technologies through policy development, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring. What You’ll Do Utilizing broad expertise in governance, controls, and risk management, serves as subject expert and provides effective counsel to leaders and business areas on IT controls and audits. Responsible for IT software development lifecycle process improvement, documentation, and the implementation of the controls. Responsible for oversight and coordination of the audit process within IT while working collaboratively with other business areas and external firms to ensure effective communication and management of audits. Identifies systemic weaknesses in IT controls, provides guidance on actions for resolution and escalates issues as needed to get the resources to address issues. Responsible for creating, implementing and managing processes, policies, procedures, standards, and controls for IT risk management Leads IT process change initiatives that are highly complex, have critical dependencies with other change initiatives or established processes, and impact multiple divisions within the organization Manages and prioritizes overall portfolio of change initiatives and collects inputs to define future change initiatives. Develops and enforces AI governance policies to ensure ethical, transparent, and accountable use of AI systems across IT operations. Collaborates with data science and engineering teams to assess AI-related risks, including bias, privacy, and model drift, and integrates mitigation strategies into the IT controls framework. Monitors regulatory developments related to AI and ensures organizational compliance with emerging standards and legislation. What You Bring Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 5+ years of experience in related field. In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.
