This role is responsible for executing essential functions that support the Claims Department. This individual with work closely with internal and external customers to investigate, examine & resolve a variety of claims related tasks, escalating complex situations to higher level. Effective communication & a comprehensive understanding of industry guidelines, as well as state & federal insurance claim regulations is key. The individual will also navigate through various Claims systems to complete daily tasks. What you'll do: Ability to investigate & resolve claims inquiries. Records information into Claims systems to ensure proper documentation. Demonstrates an understanding of applicable federal, state, & industry laws & helps ensure compliance with regulations. Responds to inquires from internal & external customer via various means of communication. Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams & external customers.
