We’re hiring a Cloud Data Engineer who will be a key driver in transforming how we deliver coverage to our members and their families. In this role, you’ll design and implement scalable, cloud-based solutions that make enrollment seamless, accurate, and fast—ensuring every member gets the coverage they need, when they need it. The Cloud Data Engineer assists with building data platforms that enable consumer engagement and best-in-class experience. The Cloud Data Engineer is a member of a team responsible for ingestion frameworks, data pipelines to process large volumes of poly structure data, and model deployments; as well as understanding the strategic data roadmap and execution of the roadmap. A key part of this team is to build an integrated data analytics platform and supporting products to drive engagement and revolutionize health and wellness. What you'll do: Build and optimize data pipelines and orchestration using cutting-edge cloud technologies, automation, and AI. Manage and reconcile complex data sets to maintain accuracy across enrollment and renewal processes. Streamline customer onboarding and fulfillment workflows on our platform. Support group enrollment and renewal activities with a focus on reliability, speed, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data quality, governance, and security across all systems. Design and implement robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Databricks to enable scalable, high-performance data processing. Develop and maintain Azure-based solutions, including: Azure Data Factory for orchestration, Logi Apps and Function Apps (with .NET components) for automation, Azure Storage (Blob, Data Lake) for secure and efficient data storage. Work with Informatica Cloud for data integration and transformation where applicable. Support data modeling, metadata management, and integration with enterprise systems to enhance interoperability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data integration and automation processes quickly and effectively. Apply ETL/ELT best practices for data movement and transformation as part of a broader data capabilities framework, enhanced with AI-driven orchestration. To be considered for this position, you must have: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university 2 or more years of progressively complex related experience. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure services (Data Factory, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Azure SQL, Data Lake). Experience with API integration and event-driven architecture. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data solutions. Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including: Model deployment in Databricks Using Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services) to enhance data workflows. Familiarity with enrollment processes and related data workflow The strongest candidates for this position will also possess: Knowledge of modern data architectures (e.g., Data Lakehouse, Delta Lake). Experience with automation frameworks and scripting for process optimization. Exposure to Power BI or other visualization tools. Background in data management and master data services.
