Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an advanced manufacturing organization, is seeking a highly technical Technical Program / Project Manager to lead the rapid productionization of complex R&D initiatives. This role is responsible for converting early-stage engineering into scalable manufacturing solutions, aligning engineering execution with commercial commitments, and owning program outcomes under aggressive timelines. Job Duties • Lead end-to-end technical programs focused on transitioning R&D concepts into production-ready systems within compressed timelines • Own overall program timing, critical path planning, and execution against customer contract milestones • Develop and manage capital planning, including equipment strategy, investment timing, and cost alignment • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and executive leadership • Drive resolution of open technical and execution risks by partnering directly with design and advanced engineering teams • Align engineering scope, timing, and deliverables with customer quotes, contracts, and commercial requirements • Manage external suppliers and contract manufacturing partners as needed to support program execution • Serve as the primary technical and programmatic owner for one major program, with potential ownership of a second based on capacity Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) • Prior hands-on experience as a design or development engineer • Experience managing technical programs or complex engineering projects with ownership of schedule and cost • Background in high-voltage systems, bus bars, circuit boards, or complex mechatronic systems • Experience with capital planning, budgeting, sourcing, and contract alignment • Exposure to new product introduction or advanced engineering environments • Experience supporting rapid development cycles or “productionizing R&D” efforts • Background working in supplier, startup, or startup-within-OEM environments • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in highly ambiguous or fast-moving programs • Exposure to manufacturing system development or early production ramp activities Blue Chip Talent is an award-winning and woman-owned talent solutions provider based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
