Full Description

The Training & Development Excellence Specialist plays an integral role in cultivating a high-performance culture focused on leadership and operational excellence. Reporting to the Director of Inclusive Leadership & Development Excellence, the Training & Development Excellence Specialist will design and deliver training and development solutions that align with field operations and organizational goals and support program administration for various initiatives across brands and RSC. Leveraging a forward-thinking mentality and strong communication skills, this person will collaborate with the Inclusive Leadership & Development Excellence Team and key internal stakeholders to deliver high-impact training and development that impacts restaurant processes and operational excellence. This position is based in our Tampa Restaurant Support Center and will work a hybrid schedule (mix of onsite and remote) once new hire training is completed. Essential Functions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and operators to identify needs and deliver solutions to enhance individual and team knowledge, skills, behaviors, and performance • Leverage restaurant/hospitality experience to develop and deliver various methods of learning content focused on skills, competencies, and operational excellence • Create learning materials and programs, including, but not limited to, online courses, videos, and printed collateral • Support the execution and administration of cross-concept and RSC training and development programs, culture initiatives, and teambuilding activities • Drive internal branding of learning and development programs and initiatives and create compelling communications and presentations for concept and RSC initiatives • Manage and respond to requests for updates/revisions to leadership training and development program content and effectively communicate process and training changes to stakeholders • Support continuous improvement by continually searching for ways to remove barriers and improve training and development effectiveness and internal customer experience Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, or related field preferred • 2+ years of experience in Instructional Design, instructor-led training, and/or adult education • 2+ years of experience in facilitating meetings and/or presenting to various audiences • 1+ year of experience in Project Management • 3+ years of experience in restaurant/hospitality operations • Be accountable for meeting objectives and milestones • Able to quickly develop positive working relationships, engage others, and communicate effectively across multiple roles and levels • Organized, problem solver, and can make independent decisions • Ability to create some communications and visuals for internal marketing • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Some experience/familiarity authoring and managing content within LMS platforms • Basic proficiency with eLearning authoring tools Bloomin' Brands offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
