Blitz Studios is a Cleveland-based production company that specializes in brand promotional content, short form storytelling, event and wedding cinematography, social media/TV advertisement, fundraising and documentary videos, pretty much you name it, we do it all. I've worked the last 5-10 years building a strong client base from local non-profits to Fortune 500 company. I've streamlined our working through working in Final Cut Pro and online CRMs for project management, time tracking, task assignment, and cloud sharing. You can see our demo reel and website here to learn more: The Role We’re looking for a remote Final Cut Pro editor who can take projects from raw footage to polished delivery—clean pacing, storytelling, sound design, advanced color grading LOG footage, and some motion graphics. You’ll be plugged directly into our workflow, assigned projects through our CRM, and provided with pre-production meetings with storyboards, timelines, deliverables, branding elements, past examples, and budgeted hours per deliverables. What You’ll Do • Edit projects in Final Cut Pro (short + long form) • Apply principles of storytelling, pacing, sound design, and color grading • Understanding library, event, project organization/structure • Advanced color grading with LOG footage, rec.709 conversions, color grade & additional luts, flares/CFX while understanding/maintaining proper skin tone IRE and hues • Add motion graphics, lower thirds, and light animation as needed • Work within our CRM system to be assigned and track projects • Download/upload project libraries and proxy files (fast wifi required) • Experience usin plugins like ColorFinale and MotionVFX What You Bring • Advanced Experience with Final Cut Pro • Strong reel/portfolio (brand, promo, events, weddings, or similar) • Ability to take a project 0–100% independently • Reliable workstation + fast internet • Strong organization and communication skills Budget & Hours • Typical pay: $30/hr • Open range: $25–$35/hr depending on experience • Consistent workload: 20–40 hrs/week available • Weekly budget: $900–$1,400 • Monthly budget: $3,600–$5,600 We’re looking to build long-term, ongoing relationships with skilled editors who are efficient and creative.
