Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service. • Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cash handling and order processing. • Train, develop, and supervise staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain operational standards. • Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce. • Implement food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. • Manage shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours. • Collaborate with kitchen management to maintain high-quality food production. • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant's operational needs. Requirements • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and culinary practices. • Experience with quick service & fast food restaurants as well as casual dining establishments is preferred. • Familiarity with inventory control systems and cash handling procedures. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. • Strong communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and vendors. • Background in hospitality management or fine dining experience is a plus. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. • Experience in training & development of staff members is highly valued. • Knowledge of budgeting processes related to restaurant operations is beneficial.
