Full Job description You'll be an integral part of showcasing our passion and pride by delivering on our (business) purpose, which is to provide assistance to our clients and to instill confidence in our local communities everywhere. Joining Blanco Income Tax Services as a seasonal Receptionist means you'll relentlessly focus on how to support clients' tax needs, now, and in the future. This position is temporary and is suitable for those seeking a seasonal job opportunity. • Do note that we are ONLY OFFERING 4 TO 5 DAYS FOR WEEK 12 PM TO 6PM HOURS VARY ATTENTION This job will be available on January 09, 2026 Day to day, your responsibilities will include... • Answering phone calls regularly and greeting clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner • Scheduling clients and fulfilling all upcoming appointments • Matching clients with the proper tax professional that warrants their needs • Ensuring all client information being inputted into the database is Current or Updated • Communicating with clients as they are introduced ensuring all current and future needs are met • Assisting tax preparer and bookkeeper with clerical work (such as typing, filing, and compartmentalizing sensitive documents). • Maintaining office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members • Conducting other duties as assigned What You'll Bring To The Team... Previous experience from working in a fast-paced environment involving customer service. It would be better if you also had... • High school diploma or equivalent • Sales/Marketing experience • Financial record-bookkeeping experience • Moderate use of Quickbooks • Knowledge and experience with a Windows-based computer system Skills • Strong Communication skills • Exceptional Organizational skills • Attentive Listener • Initiate Friendly Interactions with Employees/Visitors • Demonstrate Proper Sales Use (Managing the cash drawer) • Office Management • Effective with Time Management • Positive Work Ethic • Intermediate skills in Word and Excel Only responsible people who apply for the job Thank you Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Work Location: In person
