Requires 5+ years of project controls or construction management experience with expertise in cost planning, estimating, cost management, scheduling, and strong financial and strategic decision-making skills.
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team supporting a global energy client across North America. This is a unique opportunity to oversee project controls for construction management projects ranging from corporate offices to refineries and offshore rigs. Our Energy & Resource teams provide integrated facilities management, construction oversight, and 24/7 operational support designed to meet the needs of both onshore and offshore facilities. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the project control team, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Monitor and optimize project control systems to enhance cost planning, estimating, cost management, and scheduling. • Evaluate current business processes to identify improvements that increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. • Design and implement solutions for long-term, successful business outcomes. • Develop and conduct operations-related training for project teams. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success. • Apply financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI evaluation. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of Project Controls or Construction Management experience. • Experience in project administration and construction project controls. • Expertise in cost planning, estimating, cost management, and scheduling. • Strong consultative problem-solving and financial analytical skills. • Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively across all levels. • Strategic decision-making skills are aligned with organizational goals and resources. Preferred Experience: • Leading lean or continuous improvement initiatives within operational environments. • Coaching and mentoring teams to adopt best practices and process improvements. • Development and deployment of engineered labor standards.
