The company is seeking a hands-on Product Test Engineer II with a passion for problem-solving, technical precision, and delivering results. In this role, you will perform materials and mechanical testing on footwear products, analyze and interpret data, write detailed reports, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams. This is an on-site role at the company , requiring strong initiative and the ability to work independently within a highly collaborative lab environment. Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite (Monday-Friday, 8 AM- 5 PM) Key Responsibilities: • Perform standard mechanical and materials tests on footwear products using universal test machines. • Collect, review, and analyze testing data; produce clear, actionable reports for engineering and product teams. • Assist senior engineers on testing projects and provide guidance to peers within your area of expertise. • Identify improvements in lab protocols, testing procedures, or equipment to enhance accuracy and efficiency. • Collaborate with product creation teams to ensure the company meets quality and performance standards. • A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. • Highly organized with strong multi-tasking skills . • Independent and proactive, takes ownership of projects with minimal supervision. • Comfortable working in a hands-on lab setting and learning new testing techniques. Qualifications: Must Have: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using universal test machines for product or materials testing. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders. • Experience with statistical data analysis and interpreting testing results. Nice to Have: • Footwear or apparel product testing experience in a lab environment. • Background in mechanical engineering with knowledge of CAD. • Understanding of basic biomechanics . Travel: Occasional travel (up to 5%) may be required. Not Suitable For: • Roles focused on biomechanics research or human subject testing. • Software engineering positions.
