This position will report to the Vice President of Sales. This enthusiastic and self-motivated sales candidate will have a demonstrated history of successfully prospecting, managing, and growing all aspects of key regional retail and wholesale accounts. Core Role Responsibilities Responsibly and compliantly position Black Buffalo as the leading smokeless tobacco alternative and nicotine pouch in the market, intended for existing adult consumers of tobacco and/or nicotine only. Focus will be against gaining distribution, merchandising execution, identifying regional growth opportunities, and brand placement in retail (convenience and tobacco) and wholesale customers. Develop and maintain a business partnership with existing buyers for chain accounts and existing wholesaler network. Development of presentations for selling sales programs, new authorizations, shelf optimization, and managing execution of retail trade programs Meet at least quarterly with buyers to review past performance, highlight opportunities, and gain support for promotions, increased distribution, and operations support. Penetrate and influence at the Store Manager and Market Manager levels as needed. Understand and utilize syndicated data and competitive retail programs to conduct customer analysis and assess sales information to analyze sales volume, opportunities, goals, etc. Manage and allocate account trade and promotional spending budgets in alignment with retail trade strategy. Assess and evaluate the business results of his/her assigned customers and recommend strategic changes if necessary. Encourage trials and purchases of our products at point of sale with Adult Tobacco Consumers over 21 years old Provide in-store support to our retail partners Create product displays and ensure proper product placement Increase brand awareness through customer interactions and product demonstrations Educating customers on the features and benefits of our products Report on daily activities and sales result Work cross functionally with the Marketing, Production and Fulfillment teams to align chain specific program goals and strategy. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, and/or marketing is preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales experience in nicotine or consumer-packaged goods and 3+ years key account management. Proven success in developing new business and new accounts in self-guided fashion. Experience in representing sales in cross-functional business team situations within your current organizations. Additional: The candidate must have the ability to travel 75% of the time. You will be compensated for all travel needs, including an automobile allowance. Black Buffalo offers highly competitive salaries of $85,000 and year-end performance bonuses up to 15% of salary based on results.
