The Benefits of working at BJ’s • BJ’s pays weekly • Eligible for free BJ's Inner Circle and Supplemental membership(s)* • Generous time off programs to support busy lifestyles* o Vacation, Personal, Holiday, Sick, Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty • Benefit plans for your changing needs* o Three medical plans**, Health Savings Account (HSA), two dental plans, vision plan, flexible spending • 401(k) plan with company match (must be at least 18 years old) *eligibility requirements vary by position **medical plans vary by location Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Design or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with UI libraries and responsive design (bootstrap, material, etc.) Design functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability Define information architecture and product and user journies Write functional requirement documents and specifications for acceptance criteria and interaction design Create quality mockups and prototypes using Sketch and InVision Assist front-end developers with coding and UAT Testing Keep consistent style libraries that are consistent across all product designs Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and design processes Promote usability best practices in an Agile design process Expectations 5+ years of professional experience with professional portfolio demo Work as part of a truly cross-functional, agile development team Actively drive Business requirements and enhancements Show initiative and drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency Research trends for CX and UX and be current with product design and interaction design A self-starter who is motivated to take ownership of projects and drive tasks to completion Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies, frameworks, etc. Ability to explain technical problems and understand stakeholders requirements Ability and willingness to work as part of a self-organizing team Good communication and presentation skills at all hierarchy levels In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $73,500.00.
