BJC is hiring for a Program Manager Technology. We are looking for an IT Program or Project Manager. This is remote position. Applicants must be located in MO or IL. Information Services is comprised of over 650 individuals working together to provide effective delivery of system development, implentation and support as well as strategic IT planning and analysis to BJC's Hospitals and health Service Organizations. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Technology Program Manager is responsible for coordinating the teams who are working on the various technology projects with the goal in mind to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to BJC. This role is responsible for the strategic efforts of an initiative and project/program lifecycle (planning, executing, and closing programs); building program and project teams, and ensuring quality control throughout the program life cycles to complete programs according to plan and budget and require excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Responsibilities • Analyses and designs business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automation. Manages the execution of business process improvements being enabled by technology.Develops graphical models of business processes to facilitate understanding and decision-making. Assesses the feasibility of business process changes and recommends alternative approaches.Selects, tailors and implements methods and tools for improving business processes at program, project or team level. Contributes to the definition of organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for business process improvement. • Plans, directs and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement a technology program from initiation to final transition into operational, business-as-usual management.Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on program-related activities and ensures appropriate and effective governance arrangements and comprehensive reporting and communication policies are in place and followed.Maintains an awareness of current technology technical developments that may provide opportunities to the programs. Ensures that technology programs are managed to realise agreed business benefits within agreed timescales. • Sets policy and drives adherence to standards for systems development. Leads activities to make security and privacy integral to systems development.Identifies and manages the resources necessary for all stages of systems development projects and ensures that technical, financial and quality targets are met. • Works with operational managers to ensure maximum improvements are made as groups of projects deliver their products into operational use.Communicates the change program vision to staff at all levels of the business and keeps a focus on business objectives.Maintains the business case for funding the program and confirms continuing business viability of the program at regular intervals. • Collates information and creates reports and insights to support technology strategy management processes and roadmap. Develops and communicates to stakeholders plans to drive forward the strategic management approach and timetables related change planning and implementation. Provides support and guidance to help stakeholders adhere to the approach.Contributes to the development of policies, standards and guidelines for strategy development and planning.
