Position Overview BizFirst is supporting our client in identifying a full-time Project Manager to lead a high-visibility Navy ERP initiative focused on system transformation and modernization. This individual will oversee all aspects of the task order, serve as the primary liaison with Government stakeholders, including the COR, and ensure timely, effective delivery. The role requires senior-level expertise equivalent to the “Subject Matter Specialist” labor category and the ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation. What You will Do: As the As the Project Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of a Navy ERP transformation, serving as the primary point of contact with the Government, including the COR. You will manage task order performance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with contract objectives. The role requires in-person availability in the National Capital Region within 24 hours’ notice and strict adherence to DoD and Navy standards. You will leverage expertise in S4 HANA upgrades, SAP Activate methodologies, and Agile/SAFe practices to drive project delivery. Responsibilities include managing risks, resources, and timelines, while preparing executive briefings and ensuring smooth stakeholder communication. Your leadership will ensure Navy ERP milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact with the Government, including the COR, ensuring alignment of expectations, deliverables, and priorities. Manage the overall task order and act as the lead planner for all phases of the ERP implementation and transformation. Coordinate and oversee all program activities, resources, and deliverables across hybrid teams. Provide senior-level leadership and direction to ensure successful execution of Navy ERP migration projects. Ensure the program aligns with DoD standards, policies, and strategic goals, including compliance with Navy ERP requirements. Facilitate timely decision-making and communication among stakeholders and project team members. Organize and lead program status meetings, deliver executive briefings, and develop strategic plans as needed. Address project risks, mitigation strategies, and resource management plans proactively. Ensure readiness for in-person meetings within 24 hours' notice in the National Capital Region. Collaborate with technical and functional experts to ensure integration of Scaled Agile (SAFe), SAP Activate methodologies, and S4 HANA best practices.
