This is a remote position. Position Overview BizFirst is assisting our client with the search for an experienced Oracle EBS Senior Functional Analyst to support our client’s enterprise systems initiatives. The successful candidate will gather, refine, and document business requirements, translate them into design solutions, and ensure seamless collaboration across business, technical, and quality assurance teams. This position plays a critical role in supporting software changes, functional analysis, and project documentation in a federal environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal Financials experience and strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the optimization of core financial processes, compliance efforts, and system development life cycle (SDLC) activities. Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, automation, and advanced data analytics. Through innovative solutions, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for defense and federal agencies, delivering critical improvements to financial oversight and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Develop system requirements documents, test plans, and test scripts aligned with project timelines. Create functional design and configuration documentation for Oracle EBS solutions. Support the clarification and revision of requirements throughout release cycles. Participate in customer and stakeholder meetings, documenting discussions and decisions. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are clear, testable, and actionable. Conduct functional testing of developed solutions and maintain accurate traceability matrices (RTMs). Ensure all documentation adheres to SDLC and organizational compliance standards. Contribute to the development of integration and data migration materials. Work independently and collaboratively to resolve complex functional and system issues. Required Qualifications · U.S. Citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional or Requirements Analyst for Oracle EBS Federal Financials and Projects R12. Proven experience with Oracle EBS core processes, including: Procure-to-Pay (P2P) General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) G-Invoicing Strong understanding of systems and data analysis, requirements management, and SDLC methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). Strong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments. Desired Qualifications Experience working in Agile development environments such as Scrum. Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and Project. Oracle Certified Professional credential preferred. Experience supporting federal financial management systems or modernization programs.
