WHAT WE DO: The Bio Behavioral Institute (BBI) is an outpatient Mental Health clinic; we specialize in treating OCD, Anxiety, BDD, and many other complex disorders. WHAT YOU’LL DO: The Clinical Outreach Specialist is a key growth and engagement driver focused on building and strengthening referral partnerships with behavioral health providers, schools, residential treatment centers, and healthcare systems. Your role is part relationship-builder, part educator, and part strategist, ensuring that BBI is top-of-mind for referring clinicians and institutions. This is not a traditional sales role. Your success will be measured by the quality and volume of referral partnerships, as well as the depth and consistency of engagement across BBI’s ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Referral Partner Management & Expansion • Audit and assess existing referral relationships for deepening engagement. • Maintain consistent, value-driven communication with top referring clinicians and institutions. • Identify and develop “expansion opportunities” within current referral networks. • Update and distribute referral resources, toolkits, and materials. New Partner Prospecting & Activation • Research, identify, and reach out to potential referral sources including psychiatrists, therapists, schools, and treatment centers. • Conduct cold outreach and warm introductions via phone, email, events, and in-person visits. • Host webinars, lunch-and-learns, and educational sessions to introduce BBI’s services. • Support new partner onboarding with information on referral workflows, intake procedures, and BBI services. Coordination & Communication • Serve as a liaison between BBI’s clinical team and external providers. • Ensure follow-up, accurate information sharing, and partner satisfaction. • Maintain CRM systems with up-to-date partner activity, communications, and performance tracking. Performance & Metrics • Define and track KPIs such as referral growth, conversion rates, and partner retention. • Analyze outreach outcomes to inform and optimize strategy. • Regularly report performance to leadership and make data-informed recommendations. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, • Prior experience in Social Work, Counseling, Nurse/Nurse Practioner, Pharmaceutical Sales or a related behavioral health field preferred but not required. • 3–5+ years of experience in clinical outreach, business development, or referral relations in the behavioral health or healthcare industry. • Understanding of evidence-based mental health treatments (CBT, ERP, exposure therapy). • Familiarity with referral protocols. Knowledge, Skills, Requirements • Proven success engaging clinicians, health systems, or educational institutions. • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills. • Strategic thinker with ability to build and sustain long-term partnerships. • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple outreach initiatives. • Technologically proficient with CRMs, email tools, and reporting dashboards (preferred but not required) • Must have the ability to travel locally (Tri-State area) for meetings and events.
