Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions, and they are seeking a Business Analyst to join their Shipyard AI Capacity Planning team. This role involves supporting the deployment of proprietary software to shipbuilders, maintaining relationships with key personnel, and assisting in the development of requirements documentation and solutions for proposals. Responsibilities • Assist with onsite data collection and Shipyard AI implementation efforts • Maintain relationships with key shipyard personnel • Support the development of requirements documentation and related specifications, documentation, and business cases • Assist in the design and deployment of solutions for proposals and follow-on work • Attain basic knowledge of BigBear's services and software portfolio to assist in growth opportunities in the Shipyards • Assisting in sales demos and customer presentations • Provide feedback for product development • Troubleshoot customer issues (as needed) • Provide customer training on deployments • Travel will be required as needed to support deployments of our solutions Skills • Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering or a similar field • Instead of a degree, 10+ years of relevant experience in shipbuilding with a focus on capacity planning and scheduling • Passionate about providing high-quality, impactful solutions to real business opportunities and challenges • Experience with project planning or engineering, ideally in a U.S. Navy, shipbuilding, or other manufacturing environment • Experience in large-scale system implementation efforts following a standard software development lifecycle approach (Scrum desired) • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling • Knowledge of industry-standard development methodologies and technologies Company Overview • BigBear.ai's mission is to deliver clarity for the world's most complex decisions.
