To support our expansion, we’re seeking motivated Freight Agents to join us on a 6-month contract and assist with business development efforts. Position Overview This is a sales-driven role where your primary focus will be identifying, developing, and maintaining shipper relationships. While you’ll have support from our dispatch and operations team, your main responsibility will be opening doors, generating leads, and building trust with new shippers. This is a 6-month independent contractor position with commission-based pay, designed for someone with a strong sales mindset and entrepreneurial drive. What You’ll Do • Assist brokers in building and maintaining shipper relationships • Research and prospect new business opportunities • Make outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to decision-makers • Build a trusting relationship with shippers • May need to negotiate rates with shippers • Provide professional customer service and timely communication • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts What We Offer • Pay: 10%–20% commission on the first 5 loads booked per shipper • Commission-based earnings thereafter (percentage of gross profit on each load) • Weekly settlements with transparent reporting • Access to load boards, carrier databases, and back-office support • No forced dispatch — flexibility in how you work • Opportunity to grow your own customer base under our authority Qualifications • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred. • Familiarity with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations is a plus. • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Comfortable with cold outreach and pitching solutions • Ability to research and develop new shipper accounts • Reliable computer, phone, and internet connection • Self-motivated and able to work independently under a 1099 contract Contract Terms • 6-month contract position with opportunity for renewal or expansion • Independent contractor role (not W-2 employment) • Flexible schedule, remote work Application Questions: 1.
