Full Description

About Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana At BBBSKY, we believe all youth achieve their full potential. For over a century, we've created and supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth and young adults in our community through mentorship experiences that have a lifelong positive impact. We recognize that while all youth have equal potential, they do not have equal opportunity, and we're committed to changing that through meaningful mentorship. Position Summary The Development Operations Manager owns our CRM strategy and provides the operational backbone for our fundraising success. You'll lead annual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, and data management to drive individual donor growth toward our $500,000+ annual goal. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, transforming data into actionable insights that deepen donor relationships and support our mission of creating life-changing mentoring relationships. What You'll Do • Own our CRM strategy by managing comprehensive data entry, developing protocols, conducting cleanup projects, and training team members while ensuring database integrity and seamless third-party integrations • Create dashboards and reports that reveal giving trends, inform fundraising strategy, and guide leadership decisions through data analysis and monthly financial reconciliation with our CFO • Ensure exceptional donor experience by sending acknowledgments within 48 hours of every gift and crafting stewardship materials that authentically communicate impact • Design and execute creative bi-annual appeals and giving day campaigns (Give for Good Louisville, Giving Tuesday) that contribute to our $500,000+ individual giving goal • Analyze campaign performance and donor data to continuously improve retention rates, identify new opportunities, and optimize fundraising results • Respond to all donor inquiries with professionalism and warmth while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy • Collaborate across departments and with external vendors to bring fresh ideas to life and ensure our digital platforms make giving accessible and inspiring
