I’m looking for an experienced improv-focused piano teacher to work with an intermediate piano player who wants to get better at jamming with friends using chords. This role is not about reading sheet music. The focus is on: • Playing by ear • Chord-based improvisation • Rhythmic patterns • Creative, musical ways to play beautiful chords Details • Format: Virtual (Zoom) • Pay: $10 per session • Schedule: Flexible, 1 hr/week Ideal background • Strong experience playing piano or keys in jams, ideally experience teaching music • Comfortable improvising with chords (pop, soul, rock, etc.) To apply, please include: • A brief description of your musical background and experience with improvisation/jamming and teaching • Why you think you’d be a good fit for this role • Your scheduling availability Job Type: Contract Pay: $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 1 per week Work Location: Remote
