Commercial Assistant Property Manager About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will provide vital support to the property management team by assisting with tenant relations, financial processes, and daily operational activities across a commercial property portfolio. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Job title: Commercial Assistant Property Manager Job type: Contract Location: Irvine, CA Compensation: $35-$38/hourly What You’ll Do: • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, addressing requests and resolving issues promptly. • Ensure all services comply with company standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements. • Participate in property inspections and recommend repairs, upgrades, and operational improvements. • Provide administrative support, including creating purchase orders, submitting and coding invoices, and coordinating with accounting. • Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance. • Assist in budget preparation by researching costs for supplies and services and compiling related reports. • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, reviewing and approving tenant billing for accuracy. • Support the preparation and distribution of common area maintenance (CAM) statements, invoices, and related correspondence. • Plan and execute tenant appreciation events and newsletters to promote positive tenant relations. • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and recommend process improvements. • Contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency and overall property performance. What You’ll Need: • High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certification in property management or business administration preferred. • 3–4 years of experience in property management, real estate, or a related administrative role. • Strong understanding of property management processes, systems, and procedures. • Proficiency in Yardi One–Elevate is required. • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups. • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship. #BGTA #ZIPTA BGSF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
