Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! The Senior Director of Food Away from Home Sales will report to the Executive Vice President of Sales. This position is responsible for leading a team that will focus on driving sales across all food service channels. This leader must possess the ability to develop & flawlessly execute plans and inspire others to deliver desired results. They will need to be able to work with key stakeholders at both the customer and internal HQ levels. This person should have experience with both direct and broker sales models, conduct Broker training regarding product knowledge and sales techniques for food service, work with Broker representatives on end-user calls and at food shows, and establish sales objectives for Brokers and direct activities to attain these targets. Responsibilities: Partner with the EVP of Sales to achieve the revenue, share, and profit growth objectives in the food service business. Develop and implement the right customer-specific plans for those accounts in a manner that is not disruptive to the balance of the market. Lead a team of salespersons and brokers. Provide recommendations on the optimal manner of “going to market” at the customer level. Lead the execution of plans to establish and maintain deep and lasting relationships with customers. Tracks and reports on the progress of establishing partnerships with customers and achieving sales objectives. Assess and report on the progress made with each customer to ensure the goals are achieved and adjustments are made promptly. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and HQ for all forecasting activities. Maintain forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from key sources. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment. Experience, Skills, Education: At least 15 years of sales experience in the food service business, partnering with customers within this segment and driving sales. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field is required. Demonstrated experience in both direct and broker sales models. Demonstrated experience in achieving sales goals. Demonstrated experience in a key leadership role with success at leading a sales organization that services customers in multiple distribution channels. Possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be a team player who can collaborate with internal and external resources. Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
