What You’ll Do: • Clean and sanitize resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas. • Perform daily and scheduled cleaning of common areas such as hallways, lounges, dining rooms, activity spaces, and restrooms. • Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors and furniture as needed. • Change linens, make beds, and launder resident or facility items as assigned. • Safely handle, use, and store cleaning supplies following proper infection control and safety protocols. • Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or resident concerns promptly to appropriate staff. • Respect resident privacy and personal belongings while working in their living spaces. • Prepare rooms for new residents to ensure a clean, comfortable move-in experience. • Collaborate with care staff and other departments to support resident well-being and satisfaction. • Follow community policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: • Must be 18 years or older • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare or senior living. • Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and infection control standards. • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards. • Compassionate and respectful demeanor when working with older adults. • Good communication and customer service skills for work in resident-occupied areas. • Ability to bend, lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
