What You’ll Do: Clean and sanitize resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas. Perform daily and scheduled cleaning of common areas such as hallways, lounges, dining rooms, activity spaces, and restrooms. Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors and furniture as needed. Change linens, make beds, and launder resident or facility items as assigned. Safely handle, use, and store cleaning supplies following proper infection control and safety protocols. Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or resident concerns promptly to appropriate staff. Respect resident privacy and personal belongings while working in their living spaces. Prepare rooms for new residents to ensure a clean, comfortable move-in experience. Collaborate with care staff and other departments to support resident well-being and satisfaction. Follow community policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need: Must be 18 years or older Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare or senior living. Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and infection control standards. Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Compassionate and respectful demeanor when working with older adults. Good communication and customer service skills for work in resident-occupied areas. Ability to bend, lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
