Position Overview This is a central role in facilitating the onboarding, transition, and conversion of financial services clients to our cost basis and tax reporting platform. The Lead Associate, Client Onboarding and Conversions is responsible for managing account openings, closures, and system conversions, ensuring a seamless and compliant client experience. The Lead Associate, Client Onboarding and Conversions engages directly with clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate documentation, perform data analysis and reconciliation, and lead project management activities. The role also requires product management capabilities, including understanding platform functionality, gathering client feedback, and helping shape the onboarding experience to align with business and user needs. This is a high-impact role with visibility across cross-functional teams and opportunities for growth in client-facing, operational, and product leadership. Duties and Responsibilities • Facilitate client onboarding processes including system conversions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Conduct analysis, reconciliation, and review of incoming and outgoing data to support seamless platform transitions. • Engage directly with clients to explain documentation requirements, regulatory considerations, and onboarding expectations. • Lead client-facing calls and meetings, providing direct support, documentation, and follow-up throughout the onboarding lifecycle. • Lead project management activities for onboarding and conversion efforts, including scheduling, reporting, issue tracking, and risk escalation. • Support conversion activities for complex client relationships, ensuring accurate data migration. • Review control reports and resolve issues that arise during onboarding and conversion processes. • Coordinate cross-functional resources to meet client needs and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Provide guidance to clients on platform features and assist in structuring their product or program offerings. • Monitor project quality and efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the onboarding lifecycle. • Recommend process and product improvements based on analysis, client feedback, and platform usage insights. Skills and Experience • 5+ years of experience in client onboarding, transitions, or financial services operations. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Hands-on experience with cost basis and tax reporting platforms is required. • Must have experience managing end-to-end institutional or client onboarding and conversion processes for financial institutions, including system setup, data migration, documentation, and transition to BAU support. • Proven track record in managing data conversions and onboarding workflows for financial services clients. • Experience in project coordination or management, including reporting, planning, and issue tracking. • Product management mindset with the ability to translate client needs into platform enhancements and onboarding improvements. • Excellent communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating across teams. • Proven analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with onboarding systems or workflow tools is a plus. Compensation: We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience including full benefits offering and PTO.
